My whole team died before final circle so I had to pull out the most clutch win of my Warzone career.
Maybe not the world record but it’s gotta be up there, right ?

Warzone in 2022 if Cod 2021 is WW2

It's 2022 and WW2 integration just dropped two weeks ago. Your obsidian AMAX is now laughably bad compared to WW2 relics. The meta weapons are the Thompson (no recoil, big magazine, great range and mobility, sub 400 TTK), and the Lee-Enfield (blazing fast ADS, hit scan up to 500 m, no scope glint). Hackers are still everywhere, self-res can be found in every other chest, and you still can't find any damn plates. The COD store just got updated with a Thompson super-ultra blueprint that costs 2400 CP with rainbow tracers, better iron sights, reactive camo, and a cool custom inspect animation (streamers swear it has less recoil too but JGOD hasn't released a video on it yet).

Comparing the ttk of previous metas

I thought it would be quite insightful to compare the ttk's of previous meta weapons or weapons that were prevalent in the meta. These are all theoretical ttk's calculated from chest shots and assuming 100% accuracy. For the smg's. I'm just gonna state the first 2 damage ranges as the 3rd damage dropoff rarely occurs.

M4A1 - 593ms / 816ms , Grau - 658ms, 904ms , MP7 - 568ms / 758ms , MP5 - 526ms / 677ms ,

Ram 7 - 561ms/701ms , Amax - 476ms/571ms, Kilo - 639ms/799ms(/1039ms)

Comparing these to some of the cw meta weapons:

FFAR - 467ms/596ms (LOL) , Mac 10 - 488ms (+50), 708ms (+50) , AUG - 775ms.

AUG w/ one hs - 388ms - 550ms depending when you land the hs in the burst but 0n avg it's around 470ms.

Edit - AUG with one hs is 550ms but all headshots is 388ms which is actually still a 2 burst like the hitting 1 hs

As we can see the cw weapons have reduced the ttk quite a bit compared to some of the previous meta weapons. It's very unhealthy for the game and promotes a boring, campy playstyle. It just results in an overall frustrating experience tbh. Fast ttk weapons are okay if they have significant drawbacks, but the aug, mac and ffar are some of the easiest, no-skill weapons to use.
