| Posted: 16 Aug 2021 10:59 AM PDT With the recent addition of Tec-9 I see a lot of people talking about how to differentiate which fire-mode some particular gun has (semi-auto Tec-9 is bugged currently - read below). Let's look at the crosshair (look at examples to see what I'm talking about):
Keep in mind: some weapons have different types of ammo which change its behavior, e.g. slug-rounds on shotguns: the crosshair becomes a "semi-auto"-one: Jack-12 with FRAG-12 rounds (that applies to any slug-type ammo). Currently I know about at least 2 bugged ones: semi-auto Tec-9 and KSP-45 because those are SMGs by default and weren't changed after being added to the game (valve pls fix) - those are exceptions otherwise the rules still apply: when you pick up the grey Tec-9 - it's still semi-auto - keep that in mind. Side-note: This discussion kinda made me write this post. edit: If screenshots are low-rez on mobile - open them in "desktop mode" - for some reason m.imgur messes up the resolution showing it as "a post" - not the direct link. | Raven is absolutely clueless (MW Nerfs) Posted: 16 Aug 2021 10:55 AM PDT For some reason Raven thought they'd nerf the MW MP5, the last good MW gun that could actually compete. Don't get me started on the AS Val, there's a reason barely anyone uses that gun. Raven is absolutely clueless and this is made clear by their so called "balancing" that they did in season 4. We all expected them to buff most of the MW guns but instead they nerfed them below the ground (Oden, AK47, SCAR, Vector, PP19 Bizon, MG34 etc). These guns were absolutely useless against Cold War guns already. And to be used even somewhat effectively it would take skill and precision. Its been made clear that Cold War is supposed to be superior in every way, the range, movement speed and ads penalities are nothing like MW guns. The Amax was nerfed 4 TIMES to the point where the Fara has faster TTK, despite the Fara taking significantly less skill to use. Have you tried using the Amax? It has giant random S pattern recoil while the Fara barely bounces even when shooting targets at 100m+. Its gotten to the point where a blue ground loot Stoner will sh*t over any MW loadout AR/LMG. What has happened to this game? Why must we use Cold War weapons just to be able to compete? [link] [comments] | ||

I also think combat scout shouldn't make your bullets all snap shot grenades. Instead maybe show suppressed weapons being fired on mini map within like 50-75m.
