| I wouldn't hate this game if the MW ARs were still viable. Posted: 10 Aug 2021 07:47 AM PDT I mean, I would still have frustration with hackers and all that stuff that's been discussed to death (which, clearly, Activision and Raven are never going to do anything about) -- but I think what pisses me off the most about this game now, is that for someone like myself, who only got into COD as recently as 2019 due to Modern Warfare and it's revised emphasis on realistic gunplay, weapon animations like reloads and press checks, and all that sort of stuff that appeals to a gun nut like myself -- Cold War comes along, with its crappy animations, unrealistic designs (an extended mag revolver with a suppresor, lolwut?), anachronistic attachments, and just an overall emphasis on cartoonish trash that had little to no imagination put into it whatsoever, and it threw off what made this game mode so appealing to me this time last summer. Factor in that virtually every CW rifle is a 'meta' compared to even the best MW rifles, and it's made this game virtually unplayable for someone like myself, that really does not want to use cartoon weapons in a game that originally had a team of people that at least understood basic weapon mechanics while IW were working on the game.
