    Ultimate Grau 5.56 Guide for Warzone

    Title

    Introduction

    Before I get started, I just want to thank everybody that stopped by my Ultimate M13 Loadout Guide and interacted with it.

    I put a lot of energy into this stuff because I want to help others and to start a conversation in the community, so seeing that happen really made me feel proud.

    I got a few suggestions for more guides including MP7, M4A1, and a Grau 5.56 build.

    Where Grau got asked for first, that's what I'm gonna start with.

    Keep an eye out for the others because they're on their way!

    And, of course, feel free to ask about more guides you might be interested in! I really have a lot of fun making them, and knowing that they're helping you guys really drives me to get them done.

    Also, because it was brought up a few times in the last guide, I'm going to try making a video version for this one! I feel a little bit shy about doing so, but I hope that putting into that format can help make the information more available to anybody that doesn't like sifting through lots of writing.

    That being said, lets get started!

    Acronyms

    TTK = Times to kill

    BTK = Bullets to kill

    AR = Assault Rifle ​

    Grau 5.56

    1. DAMAGE

    Base = 28 ~ 23 ~ 18

    Headshots = 42 ~ 35 ~ 27

    The damage model is very similar to Kilo141. Almost identical, actually. I'll go more into it under the comparisons section, but I figured it was worth mentioning here for anybody that has any experience with Kilo141.

    3. Range

    Roughly about 32m ~ 60m

    Grau has the longest range for any ARs except Oden and FAL.

    This feature is really great in Warzone!

    4. TTK

    Against an enemy with 3 Armor plates equipped, 640ms

    Guns that have faster TTK than Grau 5.56 (Without headshots)

    - Kilo 141 (616ms)

    - FN FAL (480ms)

    - AK 47 (535ms / 5.45 ammunition 522ms)

    - M4A1 (576ms / 9mm ammunition 638ms / Socom ammunition 460ms)

    - ODEN (552ms)

    - RAM 7 (544ms)

    Guns that have slower TTK than M13 (Without headshots)

    - FR 5.56 (834ms)

    - SCAR (700ms)

    - M13 (650ms)

    Grau's TTK is quite slow when put up against other ARs,

    however this is balanced out by its high range.

    5. Recoil

    The pattern goes up and to the right.

    Mostly upper, though, as the right recoil isn't very strong.

    6. Features

    Grau has amazing range and a fairly easy recoil pattern to learn to control.

    This makes the weapon really great for newer players that might not be able to land shots with weapons that are a bit more difficult to stabilize.

    One thing that most people don't know about Grau is that beyond its normal range capacity (around 60m by default), it has the 5th slowest TTK among all of the guns in Warzone.

    Because of that, paying attention to range is really important. You can go from doing really good and consistent damage, to doing almost nothing in an instant.

    7. Comparison

    M13

    Only taking numbers into account, at close range Grau is stronger but any further than that M13 is better. The reason for this is that beyond close range both weapons require a similar amount of bullets, but M13s higher rate of fire lets you get them out faster.

    That being said, as I mentioned earlier Grau's TTK suffers a ton if you get out of the range your weapon is built for, dropping down to the 5th slowest TTK in the game.

    A little more forgiving, M13 boasts the 7th fastest TTK even at those great ranges.

    The headshot efficiency is also not as good for Grau as it is for M13.

    Ironically, however, Grau's weaker headshot efficiency can in a way be a boost to the weapon's performance for some players. If you have a hard time getting headshots at range, Grau is going to give you a much more stable TTK. It has less raw potential, but more consistency.

    Oden

    For an AR, Oden has incredible range and BTK. However its mobility is one of the worst.

    You also have to go for upper torso shots to really get the most out of the gun, and with its slow rate of fire that can sometimes be difficult.

    Players in Warzone have a tendency of running around like monkeys, which means that you have to be fairly talented to take advantage of Oden's full potential.

    While the BTK is great, if you miss any of those bullets you greatly reduce the weapon's TTK in overall. I'd say because of that, Grau is better for a newer or less seasoned player and Oden is deadlier in the hands of more experienced players.

    Kilo 141

    Grau and Kilo are both solid choices in Warzone, but because of Kilo's faster TTK some people feel that it's just outright a better option than Grau.

    One thing to consider, however, is the range difference. If you put as much range as you can into both weapons, Kilo will never be able to compete in that area.

    Kilo does have smoother recoil than Grau, but Grau has much better mobility as it has better ADS and movement speed.

    Honestly either gun can work and is good in almost anybody's hands, so it's more about personal preference than anything else.

    Which is to say, obviously use whichever gun you think is prettier. lol

    8. Recommanded Build

    ADS: Aim down sight speedSprint out: Sprint to Fire SpeedAim Stabilization: Reduces shakiness while aiming down. Apart from actual recoil, when you areusing high magnification and on certain guns, the optic itself will be shakingback and forth a lot. This stat also helps to reduce that.Recoil Control: Reduces the amount of recoil.Recoil Stabilization: Reduces the randomness of recoil, making the bullet pattern more uniformand efficient.

    A random note, if you plan to go without a scope Grau has significantly different iron sites on every barrel so you may need to play around a bit to see what you're comfortable with.

    The reason I recommend the Nexus barrel over the Archangel barrel is that the Archangel's cons outweigh the benefits it gives.

    It offers 5% more range, but that amounts to only about 3 meters. And because of the way recoil control works in game, while it technically has a higher recoil control stat and that lowers the overall vertical movement of the pattern, it actually increases the horizontal pattern a bit.

    And for those bonuses you make the sacrifices of having an ADS that's 2 frames slower and a movement speed that's .5% slower. While the movement speed isn't the biggest deal, the ADS will definitely be felt.

    Some people might feel like insane range isn't necessary, because they don't like to try and snipe or anything. Maybe for them the default range is fine, and love Grau for whatever reason. The low recoil, how balanced it is, or even aesthetically. This setup is for those players.

    For players that enjoy using an iron sight, this build is for you.

    You can replace the barrel to whichever one you want for the look of the iron sight.

    There is nothing to be gained by having a multi platform pool when a certain platform has open cheats and major advantages. I encourage all PS4 ppl to disable cross play to boost the non cross play player pool.

    A Plunder Guide we made for you guys.

    This is a list of tips that me and my friends came up with after playing tons of Plunder, which is oddly our favourite mode out of the two in Warzone. By no means we consider ourselves pro players but we are able to get wins pretty consistently so we decided to share our knowledge.

    Tip 1: Focus on high density zones and getting a lot of kills. You get so much more money from killing other players than from doing missions. Plus, you're free to loot the area while keeping your focus on the fight.

    Tip 2: Your load out should be focused on medium to close range engagements. While long range is dominant in battle royale, plunder is much more chaotic and so you need to be ready to flank and get flanked. Having a rocket launcher is also good because you can of course get rit of vehicles ( and attack helicopters for more 💰) and also you can blast enemies while you parachute down on them.

    Tip 3: Maybe let one guy on your team use a long range weapon just in case. Snipers are annoying but are not so much a threat cause they are too fare to actually steal your money. Best way to deal with them is either run away or try to kill them with an aerial strike (or scare them off with it).

    Tip 4: if you know someone's about to Respawn on your ass, you're better off waiting for them and lure them into a trap. You should leave once you know you killed everyone and the area is safe.

    Tip 5: Try to deposit your money in the safest area you can find. The risk of high density areas is too high. Also, don't ever stop looting and getting money even if you are over 1mil, even if you are 5th place. You can still win if you find good chunks of them sweet bucks.

    Tip 6: Have fun!

    Edit: u/Marcolampie pointed out the Ammo Crate and I absolutely agree, at least one in the team must carry it, especially if you are using launchers!

    This is extremely valuable information. And most randoms you play with in fill dont have mics so most of the time you have absolutely no clue if your temmate downs someone.
